Robert H. MacArthur Award


The Robert H. MacArthur Award is given to an established ecologist in midcareer for meritorious contributions to ecology, in the expectation of continued, outstanding ecological research.

This award is given every two years. In the alternate year, the awardee gives the MacArthur Lecture at the Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America.

Nominations for this award should include a letter of nomination, a curriculum vitae at most four pages, one required letter of support, and no more than two additional letters of support. The letter of nomination and letters of support should be no longer than two pages.
